- Video and audio compressions are sent in a series of packets information called Bits and Bytes
- There are 8 digital 1s or 0s in each Bit (for example: 10111010 = 186, which only the computers really understand or need to understand)
- There are 8 Bits in a Byte to make up to the packet of information (more computers language)
